It was over a year ago that I had the opportunity to jump a plane and head west to visit St. Louis Missouri. It was a long weekend trip with friends for a photographic fun weekend. I had never been to STL and was looking forward to some great sight-seeing at the Gateway Arch Park and other sights around the city.
The weather was chillier than normal for that time of year, but the colors and the Arch remained spectacular nonetheless.
We had just exited the Metro and were walking towards the Arch when we came upon this view. So we pondered, and took pictures, and then we pondered over our pictures.
Well, after much pondering and picture-taking we continued on our journey in the early morning fog.
We were headed to the Arch; it was such a powerful structure that seem to climb endlessly into the sky. I love the way the sun is peaking through and gleaming on the massive steel art. The sun seems just a dab in comparison.
Favorite Photo Friday is when I share an image that inspires me, that pushes the envelope, takes a look at a different perspective and just plain and simple, is one of my favorite photos. Thanks. ©SharontheMoments.com
