05.05.2013 || Monday Monday Spring ™ Continuing on my Spring Photo journey, I continue to be amazed by all the beauty and wonder in downtown Columbus, finding happiness in the most usual of places. I am loving Monday Monday Spring.
And I am loving these tulips …
The tulips were everywhere, and I seemed to follow them through the Columbus Commons.
The following day, I decided I would change-up the walk and head toward the Scioto Mile Fountains.
It was a hot day, more than usual, thus made for a great day to see the fountains in action in preparation for the warmer weather.
If you build it {or in this case … turn on the fountains}, they will come. This wonderful playful little girl appeared and was delightful in her curiosity.
So I snapped a few pictures, learning that it is not just about getting the perfect picture but rather enjoying the journey too. As I took her picture, I chatted with her great-grandmother.
Sometimes, it may appear strangers have nothing in common, but not this day. We both talked, and watched and enjoyed her great grand-daughter laughing and running and splashing with not a care in the world.
We were no longer strangers.
Today was nice. Today was different.
Today was enjoyed by all.
And I think this little girl enjoyed the day too.
May we all learn to live and dance like we are in our youth.
Monday Monday Spring ™ Photo Series is all about sharing my images taken this spring season. With winter behind us and excitement of looking forward to the warmer weather, I hope to step up my game, to look further than the naked eye {see life through the lens of my camera by changing perspective}, to share my visions of spring as I see it, hopefully to inspire you and most importantly I hope to just have fun with it.
