It has been a few weeks since my one and only has left the nest. He is loving this next chapter and doing a great job navigating this journey. I, on the other hand miss him terribly and just want to hug him tight. Meanwhile, I can’t help but think he is in the right place and he gets to enjoy this view every day from his dorm room. While I am a hundred miles away, I am comforted knowing that we both can see the same beautiful sky and this incredible view is now his home away from home.
