Elf on the Shelf North Pole Party|Sharon the Moments blog

As I mentioned in the post Christmas Elf on the Shelf Silly Antics, Chrissy and Elvin planned and plotted an Elf on the Shelf North Pole Party.  There was so much anticipation and excitement waiting for the start of the party.  There was…well, food and boy did we eat!

And ….we toasted to a great lunch!

Then came time for making reindeer food.  We added shredded oats for protein, and there was cocoa puffs for a hint of chocolate (reindeer like chocolate you know), and of course there was marshmallows for flying power.  And last but not least, a touch or more of red and green sugar glitter so all the reindeer will see their landing as they fly overhead.

Once the special concoctions was perfected, each kiddo made a label for their jars.

Colorful labels!!  Next up on the North Pole party agenda ….Gingerbread house making!

There was icing, and gum drops, and candy cane thingies and more icing with gum drops, and gum balls, and a few sneaks of gum drops and gum balls in the mouth … and then there was a little help from Grandma.

A masterpiece if I do say so myself!  Looks so good, I think I could eat it or like it anyway!

I love the Christmas season .. and making Ginger bread houses …. and making reindeer food … and listening to fun Christmas music all the while hanging with good friends … and laughing at those silly Christmas Elf antics. Did I mention … that I love Christmas??
