We are headed back … back to South Carolina, Hilton Head Island to be exact. We haven’t been there since 2011 and hot dog … we are excited!
It is only a twelve-hour drive from central Ohio so it can be done in a day, even with small children. We pack plenty of car activities to keep us busy along the way and a taking a few naps are always nice.
Once we arrive in Hilton Head, the adventure begins as we hit the ground running. The most challenging part of our vacation is what we will do first … are we going to be poolside or go bike riding?
Should we or go on an alligator boat ride or hang poolside?
and …
Or maybe we could play some miniature golf after being poolside …
Needless to say, we were able to check everything off our to do list and even found time for a life-size game of chess …
Checkmate …
And there was of course our time spent at the pool. Relaxing!
We love our time spent vacationing for eight days in South Carolina and it seems we never get to do all the fun and great things we want during our time on the island. After all, it is just about the R and R right?
But a vacation is not a vacation unless there is some poolside fun and early morning walks on the beach!
Always an adventure ride as well and so much to do on the island. You name it, the list is endless.
But the most important activity of vacationing on Hilton Head is the time spent with family.
