03.02.2013 || Favorite Photo Friday ™ Last week, my Favorite Photo Friday was on my trip to the San Francisco area, and the popular tourist area of Fisherman’s Wharf.  If you missed it click here. So in keeping with last weeks theme, I wanted to share a few more images taken during that trip.

I had taken a ferry ride into the bay to see the sights from the water and get a closer look at the Golden Gate Bridge.  It was very windy and the air was brisk with a temperature of around fifty-five degrees in the heart of July, which I learned is very typical for that time of year.

Cruising along, I had seen the San Francisco Sailing members in full force that day. I just loved the uniformity of each sail boat and how they seemed to sail with such a presence and grace.

Watching these sailors hang off the side of the boat to keep it upright was fascinating, all the while I was turning green on the ferry I was riding.  {OK, I admit, I am not much of a sailor}

After much rocking and swaying, the boat finally returned to dry land and I needed to get my footing so decided to just walk around the wharf and take it all in.

I made my way down The Embarcadero to this building. It is the San Francisco Ferry Building, where there were lots of farmers markets and coffee shops.

I especially loved the architecture.

 I decided to continue sight-seeing from land.

Favorite Photo Friday ™ is when I share an image that inspires me, that pushes the envelope, takes a look at a different perspective and just plain and simple, is one of my favorite photos.  Thanks. ©SharontheMoments.com
