With so many family activities, shopping and restaurants to enjoy in Shipshewana, Indiana; spending at least several days in Shipshewana is a must. Two of my recommendations for lodging include the Farmstead Inn & Conference Center and the Blue Gate Garden Inn both conveniently located on S. Van Buren Street.
I stayed in the Farmstead Inn & Conference Center during my visit to Shipshewana. The Inn offered an inviting and welcoming feel the moment I walked in the door.
Greeted by the ladies at the reception desk; I instantly felt right at home. I especially loved the convenient location right on S. Van Buren Street, within walking distance of several nearby eateries, shopping and entertainment. The lobby was bright and offered plenty of seating and was decorated in festive Christmas decor.
It was especially convenient as well, that a continental breakfast was provided on sight. This is always such a wonderful amenity; just a short walk to the dining area with plenty of seats. In addition, my room was bright, clean and cozy. The added touches throughout the Inn are sure to make all guests feel welcome while staying at the Inn.
While I did not stay in the Blue Gate Garden Inn, they also offer many amenities and is just down the street on S. Buren Street. This Inn is the perfect location if you are attending a show at the Blue Gate Preforming Arts Center (PAC) as well. For additional information about the Blue Gate PAC, read about it here.
With the Inn’s convenient location, it is so close to shopping, restaurants and activities so you will have more time to be with family, shop, eat or just relax.
