10.25.2014 || Favorite Photo Friday ™ This week’s Favorite Photo Friday is more subjective than objective. While I still love these images for their content, the reason I choose them this week is more about what they represent than the images themselves.
Most days, we take comfort in following the same steps of our daily routine, repeating actions that are comfortable and familiar to us. Even feeling the connection of our community provides most of us a sense of peace. I experience uneasiness when faced with a change in my routine; when force to choose a different path than I was planning.
A friend recently reminded me that staying the course, we have confidence in what our future will look like. She also politely explained that sometimes we should choose the path which leads us from our comfort zone.
There is strength in challenging ourselves; trying new things; facing our fears; knowing the outcome is unknown. However, there is also the reward of achievement.
So why not step off the beaten path … our beaten path, change-up our course of direction and live with the idea that what is meant to be will be.
Life begins outside our comfort zone .. Won’t you step out …. ?
