I was just thinking about this summer and all the fun activities in our future. One staple we love to attend every year in Central Ohio is The Ohio State Fair. While it isn’t until August of 2023, the entries for the Creative Arts is open now. Being a quilter, I have been thinking about what Quilts I will be entering.

I love that The Ohio State Fair is not just about the Midway and Fair food. While that is all good and dandy, the fair also celebrates the Agricultural education and achievements. Thus all the entries in the Creative and Fine Arts, the Agricultural and Horticultural as well. Once Columbus won the bid to host the fair for a five year trail, the fair has since remained in Columbus and is held at the Franklin County Fairgrounds. The Ohio State Fair grounds were dedicated on August 31 of 1886.
