Every November; I spend a long weekend in Amish Country Ohio with numerous fellow quilt lovers as we descend the entire Inn to work on our craft, quilting! I always enjoy staying at the Charm CountryView Inn BnB with all its quaint amenities and coziness it provides.

During our annual Quilt Retreat, we reserve all the rooms for the entire weekend. This is such a convenient and fun way to get as much sewing and quilting in during our time.
The bottom walkout basement is full of sewing machines humming as the creative energy is flowing. Meanwhile, anyone can take a break to sit by the fire in the 1st floor parlor, or sit on a porch swing and enjoy the views (depending on the weather of course).
The sewing room is bright and even has two comfortable couches for those that would like to sit and do some hand sewing.
The sleeping rooms and dining area are just as bright and cozy and all come with a view. Whether staying for just a night or several days or for a quilting retreat weekend, this quaint Inn in the heart of Ohio Amish Country makes the perfect spot for relaxing.
Ohio Amish Country offers numerous lodging for quilters to have dedicated space. Our bi-annual quilter’s retreat at The Inn at Amish Door also provides a beautiful dedicated space; read more about what to expect during a retreat here.
When looking for a quilt retreat, check your local Quilt Guilds. Most all guilds schedule a retreat weekend in the fall and in the spring. In addition, often quilters will branch off and create their own independently of a guild; and when you meet friends that like a quilting getaway, you are sure to find people to join you.
